A DHA-licensed Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, injuries, or disabilities. The role focuses on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall physical function through evidence-based therapeutic techniques while complying with Dubai Health Authority regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and electrotherapy treatments
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture, and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with DHA standards
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Stay updated with latest physiotherapy practices and DHA guidelines
- Manage patient appointments and treatment schedules efficiently
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT)
- Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license or eligibility letter
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, manual therapy, and electrotherapy
- Certification in specialized areas (e.g., sports rehab, dry needling) is an advantage
